Description
Sambucas nigra ‘Sambu’, this variety of elder is well known for its especially fragrant flowers, medium sized berries and very good yields. The attractive green foliage turns yellow in the autumn. Flat umbels of fragrant cream flowers form in the summer, which are followed by small black berries in late summer/autumn. Elderflowers and berries are toxic raw but when cooked they can be used to make delicious jams, cordials, teas and much more.

- Plant sold in a 3 litre pot.
All plants grown naturally in a chemical free environment in peat-free compost.
