Description
Ribes divaricatum, more commonly known as Worcesterberry, is a deciduous shrub that can reach up to 3 meters in height. It has woody, spreading branches armed with one to three thick brown thorns at the leaf nodes. In spring, the shrub is adorned with small, green flowers tinged with purple sepals. These give way to purplish-black berries, each growing up to 1 cm wide. The fruit is sweet and flavourful, delicious eaten straight from the bush, and especially well suited for baking.

- Plant sold in a 3 litre pot or bare root.
All plants grown naturally in a chemical free environment in peat-free compost.
