Description

Helianthus 'Lemon Queen’, is a wonderful upright growing sunflower. During late summer lemon coloured flowers with a dark yellow centre will pop up amongst the deep green foliage.

  • Height: 1.5 - 2.5m.
  • Spread: 0.5-1m.
  • Flowers: Summer - Autumn.
  • Borderline hardy perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 litre pot.

All plants grown naturally in a chemical free environment in peat-free compost. 

Planting & Care Guide

  • Mulch well in autumn.
  • Prune back old growth to the base in spring as the new growth shoots from the bottom.
  • Every few years the plant can be lifted and divided, giving you new plants. 
  • Full sun.
  • Likes moist well draining soil.
