Description

Salvia leucantha x chiapensis 'Phyllis Fancy', a favourite here at Careys Secret Garden, and surely one of the best in the genus for its late flowering ability to be planted at the back of a border. This Mexican hybrid has long spikes of creamy white flowers emerging from bright purple calyces and attractive willow green foliage. A very classy combination. 

  • Height: 1.5m.
  • Spread: 1.2m. 
  • Flowers: August/September - November/December.
  • Hardy perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 litre pot.

  • Mulch well in Autumn to protect from harsh frosts.
  • Prune off old flowering stems in the spring.
