Description

Salvia corrugata, originating from the north western countries of South America. This plant has dark-leathery corrugated leaves with a felty underside, offering a great contrast to the deep blue congested flower heads. This is a late flowering species and thus a great choice for a container.  

  • Height: 70cm.
  • Spread: 80cm.
  • Flowers: July/August - December/January.
  • Tender perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 Litre pot.

All plants grown naturally in a chemical free environment in peat-free compost.

  • Must be overwintered in a frost free environment.
  • Ensure it is well watered in the summer as it tends to dry out quickly. 
  • Full sun.
  • Moist but well-draining soil.
