Description

Miscanthus sinensis 'Adagio' is a compact deciduous ornamental grass featuring narrow, silver-grey foliage that turns yellow-orange in Autumn. This grass has pink-tinged, tassel-like flower heads in summer that turn to creamy-white in Autumn. 

  • Height: 1-1.5m.
  • Spread: 0.5- 1m.
  • Flowers: Autumn.
  • Hardy perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 litre pot.

Planting & Care Guide

  • Mulch well in autumn.
  • Prune back old growth to the base in spring as the new growth shoots from the bottom.
  • Every few years the plant can be lifted and divided, giving you new plants. 
  • Full sun.
  • Likes moist well draining soil.
