Hierochloe odorata, also known as Holy Grass or Sweet Grass. This is a fragrant, perennial grass cherished for its sweet, vanilla-like scent. Native to Europe (including rarely in Britain). This sacred plant has been traditionally used in ceremonies, weaving, and herbal practices.
