Join us at Careys Secret Garden for a spring workshop, where we will embrace the practical beauty of basketry.
Over the course of the workshop, you’ll learn about the properties of willow, how to prepare and handle the materials, and traditional weaving patterns used in basketry and sculptural forms.
No prior experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and a pair of willing hands. All materials and tools are provided.
There is an on-site café for refreshments, but do bring a pack lunch - weaving is hungry work!
