Aeonium arboreum 'Schwarzkopf'
A striking architectural succulent, Aeonium arboreum 'Schwarzkopf' is prized for its dramatic, almost black-purple rosettes that form on tall, branching stems. The deep colouring becomes particularly intense in bright sunlight, creating a bold contrast with green foliage and softer planting.
Perfect for containers, gravel gardens and sunny borders, this eye-catching Aeonium brings an exotic, architectural feel to the garden. It is drought-tolerant once established and particularly well suited to free-draining soils and warm, sheltered positions. In late winter or spring, mature plants can produce clusters of small, star-shaped yellow flowers above the foliage.
