Join Katie in the walled gardens for a joyful mixed media workshop, where we’ll explore nature, play with supplies and loosen up in our sketchbooks. Suitable for all levels, lunch included.

A relaxed, playful approach to capturing nature in your sketchbook

Tea, coffee, and light refreshments throughout the day
What to bring:

A mixed media sketchbook

A selection of your favourite materials (e.g. watercolour, gouache, pens, pencils, pastels or crayons). Be sure to bring one wet and dry medium.

A portable seat or stool (if you’d like to work outdoors during the afternoon and weather permits)

Weather-appropriate clothing/footwear for our walk around the gardens
Katie will be teaching using gouache, coloured pencils and Neocolor IIs. This workshop doesn’t have a set material list as the techniques can work with any art supplies, and Katie will bring plenty of dry materials you can play and experiment with on the day too!
