Join us deep in the Dorset countryside this October for a truly unique celebration of the amazing world of fungi! The Secret Fungi Festival returns to Careys Secret Garden for a full weekend of talks, workshops, live music, family activities, and a vibrant fungi-themed market — all set within our magical, 3.5-acre walled garden near Wareham.
Whether you're a seasoned mycophile, a curious forayer, or simply enchanted by the mysterious world of mushrooms, this two-day event offers something for everyone.

Afternoon seasonal forage walk around the estate, then join Christian in the kitchen to make Mushroom Tea, Mushroom Soup and Foraged Focaccia in the Wood Fired Oven. 15 spaces, £25pp, 4pm - 7pm

Seasonal Foraging Session around the estate, finishing with a "How to make a Mushroom tea and Spore Print" demonstration. 15 spaces £20pp 11am - 1.30pm

Evening Tasting Menu "Textures of Fungi" a Foraged and Fungi tasting menu - Short walk followed by 5 Courses - in The Garden Kitchen with Masterchef and creator of Urban Forage Christian. 4 to 7pm ish Menu is Vegan to include everyone. £35pp

Foraged and Fungi Secret Sunday Brunch - The Sunday Brunch you never knew you needed! A short walk followed by Brunch favourites incorporating Fungi and Foraged ingredients. Plant based options available and dietaries catered for but please let us know your requirements 10.30-12.30 £15pp
