From 9am to 11am, observe our experienced team as they carefully handle, weigh, and ring wild birds, revealing the remarkable details of these creatures up close.

Our bird ringing demonstration is a wonderful experience for both adults and children to enjoy together. To help keep the birds safe and comfortable, we kindly ask that children stay calm and quiet during the session and remain with their parent or guardian at all times.
If the weather is very wet, Ed and Kate from our bird ringing team will host an engaging indoor talk about bird ringing in the Workroom instead.
Please remember to dress for the weather so everyone can stay comfortable and enjoy the experience.
Your ticket includes the Bird Ringing Workshop, Parking and access to the walled Gardens to enjoy at your leisure afterwards. Please note the coffee shop will be open with refreshments from 10am.
