No Direction Home are a comedy collective produced by Counterpoints Arts featuring new stand-ups from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Established in 2018, they have been coached by pro comics and performed at gigs and festivals around the UK. This show will feature No Direction Home comedians Selam Amare and Victor Rios, and will be headlined by the incredible Prince Abdi!
Nish Kumar, who has headlined several of the gigs, says: "The No Direction Home comedians are a very exciting, interesting and creative bunch of people. And they're very funny!"
This event is running from 5pm - 8pm, showtime 5.30pm-7.30pm.
The comedy evening will take place in a large, heated, marquee on the lawn at Careys Secret Garden. Please dress for the weather. The coffee shop and outdoor kitchen will be open throughout the event. There is plenty of free parking.

Prince Abdi:
Prince Abdi is a British-Somali comedian, actor and writer. Prince draws on his migrant background to create a unique style of storytelling and comedy, with incredible impressions and characters. Prince Abdi’s TV credits include Comedy Central’s The World Stands Up, BBC Three’s Laughter Shock, ITV’s FHM Stand Up Hero, BBC’s The Wall, Channel 4’s Channel 4 Presents, BBC’s Diary of a Bad Man and HBO. Prince has also worked and toured with Michael Macintyre, Jack Whitehall, Trevor Noah Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock and Jeff Ross.
Selam Amare:
Selam Amare is a cultural producer, comedian, and champion of migrant stories in London. One of Selam’s projects is Azmari Bet, a vibrant platform celebrating Ethiopian music, food, and performance. From stand-up to standing up for her roots, Selam’s comedy is as rich and layered as an Ethiopian coffee ceremony—bold, warm, and guaranteed to keep you coming back for more. She was awarded the winning spot at TimeOut x Nando’s Extra Hot Comedy Club Competition 2025 with Munya Chawawa, and placed as a finalist in the Newcomer LoungesTV 2025 with Omid Djalili. Lemn Sissay OBE describes her act as the “best crossover night of Habesha (Ethiopian/ Eritrean) contemporary culture in the UK.”
Victor Rios:
Victor Rios is a British-Bolivian actor, writer, producer, and director whose work blends sharp storytelling with a dose of humour. He also runs Film Locos, a production company and platform championing diversity in film, especially for the British Latino community. Under Film Locos, Victor has produced more than 20 short films and led the ambitious 6 Shorts in 6 Days project, which toured across the UK and received acclaimed press coverage.
