Each Autumn we catch, identify, ring and take measurements of these birds under licence to gather important data on these birds. This impressive influx of passage migrants can create identification headaches when out and about, but this unique event offers the perfect opportunity to go through their key ID features up close and explain how to quickly recognise each species in the field. We'll talk all through the ringing process, ageing and sexing of these Autumn migrants, all while hopefully showing you birds in the hand close-up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese events are run on a first come first serve basis, so please ensure to book tickets as there are a limited number of spaces available.
